From the health care debate, to Obama having nominees sitting around for 6-8 months without being confirmed, the dems have proven to me that they simply can not lead. It is amazing to me how Glen "I'm a crackhead" Beck reports something and the Dems jump on it. After Bush appointed amost 50 Czars, now the MSM has a problem with Obama's. A smarter, more political savvy party would come out strong and in force to destroy this silliness, But instead, we get Russ "should get your fucking ass to work in Health Care" Feingold helping the repugs tear Obama down.
Its like watching my son's Pee Wee football team go play at Florida State. Why do we justify the repug attacks by finding a way to make it make sense? If you have a problem with CZARs, come out and say "the repugs cant speak on this issue since they have no credibility, but we will look into it". It is though the dems are taking advantage of a new preisident by holding up nominees, talking out the side of their mouths to the press, and generally backstabbing the Pres. Obama.
Dont believe, follow this shit..........
The stupidityof the Democratic Party has most likely always been there, but you must forgive me, I have only had 30 years of life. Qualifying stupidity is not the path to bipartisanship. When a stupid argument is made, you destroy it. Or you concede power to your opponent. Theae are 2 people joning in to justify FoxNews.
Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold of Wisconsin joined the anti-czar chorus Wednesday, asking Obama to detail the roles and responsibilities of all of the czars in his administration and to explain why he believes the use of czars is consistent with the Senate’s constitutional power to offer advice and consent on top-level executive branch officials.
"To the extent that this undercuts that role and people are put in the place of Cabinet people and really are the key authorities and you can’t question them, that’s something worth talking about," Feingold said. "I think it’s a fair point."
Feingold says he doesn’t know if there are any constitutional violations, but he suggested that he may hold an oversight hearing on the matter.
Feingold isn’t the only Democrat to voice concerns about the issue.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein said in an interview Wednesday:
"If you look over certain people [who] have real titles and real authority, I don’t think it’s quite fair to call, for example, David Hayes at the Department of Interior a czar," the California Democrat said. "He’s the deputy secretary of the Department of Interior, and he’s got real authority."
Feinstein said she thinks it’s a "problem" when the White House appoints someone to a czar position that is not clearly defined. "I don’t know what a car czar does, for example," she said.
Here's Chuck Schumer, forgetting that there is only one President in a statement:
It is no secret that this missile defense shield has been a thorn in Russia’s side. President Obama is clearly demonstrating his willingness to reset relations between our two countries, and the Russians should return the gesture. It is time for Russia to join our push to impose stricter sanctions on Iran in order to halt its nuclear weapons program.
This is a statement set up by politico.com as the Sen. calling for us to make a deal rather than just shutting the system down.
In another Story, the American Prospect has a story about Tom Perez being blocked by repugs for 6 months. I simply find it tough to swallow that Repugs, outnumbered 60-40 are the problem.
The Dems are trying to prove that they can govern, right now they are doing a piss poor job
