According to some of the dumber comments, President Obama was forced to appoint Perino and was powerless in the process. I apologize for the error. The Executive branch turns out, is not the executive branch afterall.
Dana Perino
According to this article:
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) urged the Obama administration to appoint Perino.
Thusly, the nomination was made by Obama and will have to be voted on. My only point was why not get something in return if McConnell wanted her. Obama was not forced and the Republican party does not get to choose. Those comments are false.
President Obama has nominated Dana Perino, George W. Bush's last press secretary and a frequent critic of the new administration, to a board overseeing government-sponsored international broadcasting.
But why does the Obama White House continue to nominate idiots for post at the urging of republicans and not getting anything for it? His nominees are constantly blocked by Repugs and he is constantly attacked for anything he does. Get something in return for these moves is all I'm asking.
Look at the dumb mutha f#$%ers greatest hits and tell me if she should get nominated for anything:
I dont believe its Obama, but if you're going to do something as stupid as this, you normally get more than a filibuster for everything you try to do in return, no?
